These authentic and very rare Aja beads are made from Venetian Glass. Aja beads such as these are identified by their distinctive disk-like shape. To this day, Venetian and Murano glass makers are world renown for the quality of their craftsmanship. Likely dating to the early 1900s, these antique glass beads were traded primarily to West Africa.
We combined them with brown glass saucer beads, black frosted beads, wooden beads, and distressed brass plated spacers.
