These old African trade beads are each collectible items and are unique and traveled to Africa from Italy for trading purposes. Each bracelet may include special beads including Bodom beads, Murano Red good beads, Millefiore, Red white and blue beads, French cross, King beads, Old powder glass beads, Dog tooth beads, Cornaline d'Aleppo Venetian Trade Beads, Russian Blue, Floral Venetian Beads, and many other unusual varieties of old African Trade Beads. They are designed with gold or silver pleated spacers, as always.
Different from last season, the selection of Fall23 has a lot Millefiori beads in them. Celebrated among the most distinctive of beads, the Millefiori has become nearly synonymous with the West African Trade. Made from famed Murano glass, Millefiori beads derive their name from the Italian words for “Thousand Flowers” due to the characteristic floral motifs that decorate their surface. Millefiori beads were made throughout the 19th and 20th century primarily for export to Africa.
There will not be a re-stock of any of these unique handmade bracelets since they are all single items.
